MIDI over TRS standard was introduced by the MIDI Manufacturers Association in 2017. Soundtronics has adopted this standard for the M²Synth MIDI2CV converters avoiding the need for the large DIN connectors.
This Soundtronics brand 150cm Lead is ideal for linking the MIDI out of a MIDI keyboard to the MIDI in of a M²Synth MIDI2CV module. The wiring for this lead follows the MIDI standard and often referred to as Type A. If using this lead for other products, note that a few manufacturers like Arturia use a different wiring convention (Type B) and is thus not suitable.
