Have the right skills, tools and test gear to build your own modular synth, then our kits of parts may be just what you need. As a minimum, you will need to be able to identify electronic components, recognise when they need to be correctly orientated, to be able to use a small soldering iron and finally have access to test equipment. Some modules do not require the use of test equipment but any requirement will be in the 'Setting and Trimming' notes.
This is not a kit as such because this module is so simple, it does not even use a PCB. 8 pots, 16 sockets and a bit of wiring and you are good to go.
Our optional 1/4" jack sockets are by Switchcraft (you will need 16 off), yes you can save money by buying cheaper sockets hence us offering it as an option because we recognise they are a significant cost.
*If you are also using or copying our front panel, then be aware that the panel is higher density than most of our other panels and as such the pot scales are of a smaller diameter. The standard size knob we use for our modulars, the Cliff KM20B is too large so you will need our 8 of the KM15B instead.
