DIY MFOS Weird Sound Generator (WSG) KB

We always recommend visiting the MFOS website before building where the latest 'offical' information and news can be found. Here on the Soundtronics website, you will find selected information from the MFOS site plus additional information and resources to aid the building and maintaining of your MFOS synth. This is not going to happen over-night but during the course of 2014, it will start to take shape as we document our experiences in the construction of these modules. Introduction to the MFOS Weird Sounds Generator

This is a really fun project and it makes a LOT of weird sounds. You will have hours, no at least days... weeks of fun making weird sound after weird sound. You will make at the very least a MILLION weird sounds in the first month alone. MFOS recommend that you use this in conjunction with your hardware or software sampler to provide tons of timbres for you sampling synth.

  • We decided not to include a PDF of the MFOS build instructions here because there is simply a wealth of supporting documention on the MFOS website with plenty of user friendly help especially useful if you are not an experienced electronics constructor.
