When we breadboard new designs, incorporating pots can be difficult especially when the design has lots of pots. Our breakout PCBs allow standard 9mm pots to be directly inserted into the breadboard. Two versions are available, this single pot type plus the quad pot board that has space for four pots.
The single pot version has space for four rows of headers for extra stability on the breadboard but you can get away with only soldering in just two rows. The fours rows are electrically connected together so you can pick up the pot connections either side of the PCB.
The quad version differs in that the CW and CCW pots connections are all commoned up. This allows for a single power supply connection with each of the wipers having their own pins on the PCB. Once again, all connections are available on both sides to simplify breadboard layouts.
The single pot version is supplied in packs of three, you will need to solder in the headers (supplied) along with the pot (not supplied, see here). The quad version is supplied individually.
