The voltage controlled oscillator is one of the essential core modules in your modular analogue synth. The M²Synth has a few options for VCOs:
- VCO 101 with sync inputs and sub octave pulse outputs
- VCO 102 is a quad VCO with preset chord intervals between the VCOs
- VCO 103 is a mini version of the 101 without the sync and sub octave features
- Voice 108 has in addition to a VCO, other core functions including a filter, VCA, noise, ADSR etc.
Overview
The VCO 101 is a fully featured oscillator which we consider to be your main VCO. Where space is limited, it pairs up well with this mini-version, the VCO 103. This combination gives the fat two oscillator sound plus offer synchronisation between the oscillators for those rich harmonic sounds.
